Some elements are accessible when you right click a button/text.
Volume can be changed by using the scroll wheel when hovering over the main window.
You can open skin options by right clicking 'Menu' or the album art (in case you hide controls).
The big album art makes your player 400px wide.

The name Ladient comes from combining the words Line and Gradient.

How to install

please teach me
Scope10 Featured By Owner 2 days ago  Hobbyist Interface Designer
You unzip the download file, go to the "Skin" folder and double click a skin. The file should open with AIMP, which will open a window with a list of skins. In that window you hit apply at the bottom and you're done. The skin should be applied now.

I've been looking for perfect skin for AIMP for so long and finally i found it.
Thank you for this awesome work, totally love it! Keep going and bring more skins to us! -__-
HelloCat Featured By Owner Edited Jan 19, 2015
Do you have a download for V1.7? I kind of prefer the old darker shade.
Scope10 Featured By Owner Jan 19, 2015  Hobbyist Interface Designer
I do:
I have every different Ladient version.

I might try to implement different shades of grey for some elements of the skin in the next version. It won't work on all elements though, since I'm limited by the skin editor.

Thanks very much!

Thank you for the update! Been waiting for some time.
DingleBerrySr Featured By Owner Jan 11, 2015
when I try to save my changes to the project file it says that access to it is denied.
Scope10 Featured By Owner Jan 11, 2015  Hobbyist Interface Designer
You're probably trying to save the project file to a location that needs admin rights, which the editor doesn't have.
Try saving the project file to a different location.
NicolasVisceglio Featured By Owner Jan 2, 2015
Perfection and something else. But I really wish you could completely prescind from gradients.
Scope10 Featured By Owner Jan 2, 2015  Hobbyist Interface Designer
What specific gradients are you talking about? The name Ladient comes part from gradient, so removing all of the gradients would require a name change, else it wouldn't make much sense anymore.

Keep in mind that you can change the skin yourself too by editing the project file.
I see. Sorry, youre right about the name. I am talking about the spectrum. How could I learn to edit it?
Scope10 Featured By Owner Jan 2, 2015  Hobbyist Interface Designer
I personally learned to make skins my just experimenting with the skin editor.
The editor also comes with documentation that explains what everything does, so you might want to look into that (Press F1 in the skin editor). You can get the skin editor from the AIMP website .

The spectrum colors can easily be changed by replacing the image I made with an image of your own. See for details.
Thank you very much! Perfect as the skin.

Is it possible to resize tray mode?
Scope10 Featured By Owner Sep 13, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
No, right now that isn't possible. I'll try to implement it into the next version if it works out.
Digitul Featured By Owner Aug 7, 2014  Hobbyist Photographer
How do I change how it looks like all the different versions on the photo, I remember with the old skin you had if I pressed the '_' button in the top right it would switch between two different modes.
Scope10 Featured By Owner Aug 8, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
I think you're referring to the tray mode of the ncmpcpp skin I made. The tray mode of this is different and can be accessed by clicking "Tray" or by simply double clicking the area with the song info.

To get the big album art you left click the album art (in normal view, not in tray mode) and it will show up. To hide the smaller album art you left click the bigger album art. To change any other stuff on the skin you right click the album art and toggle UI elements off or on under the "Ladient Options" window.

Thank you Scope10 for such a nice skin!

Installation failed help :(
Scope10 Featured By Owner Jun 14, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
That's weird. Applying a theme is pretty much fail proof. Just extract the files in the .zip and double click the skin file in the "Skin" folder.
Be sure you use an up to date version of AIMP. Check to be sure.

Am using 3.50 Beta 1,build 1224..
its not working,....
Scope10 Featured By Owner Jul 25, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Probably because that is the Beta of 3.50. Update to the latest version and it should work just fine.
The Latest version right now is 3.55, build 1335. You can get it from here…

Hey man how can I can I make it so that each other track is slightly lighter color like you have in the pic?  You know how its dark, light, dark, light etc.  I think I saw an option in the preferences about a month ago but I have looking for a couple hours and can't find anything.  You mind sharing?
Scope10 Featured By Owner May 29, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
I'm not sure if you're referring to the track font color or the track background color.
For the track font color I set my preferences to this .
For the track background color you have to change the skin project file to change the ItemBackgroundColor2 ( ).
I hope this answered your question.

Great skin! Love the way scrolls from right or left!
hacksagon Featured By Owner May 16, 2014
I have one problem with it: puu dot sh/8OGX6.png
Otherwise, wonderful.
Scope10 Featured By Owner May 16, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Yea, I noticed that myself too. It seems to be a problem with the way the font, Open Sans, is rendered. If I turn off MacType (a font rasterizer) the problem is fixed, but that isn't beneficial for the font rendering. The text does get rendered normally elsewhere when I use the same font, so it might be a problem with AIMP itself.
Using a different font like Segoe UI fixes it too, but that wouldn't be ideal for my setup.

I usually use the English translated song/artist names since I can't read Japanese anyway. This can be done easily by using the tag editor that comes with AIMP.

What I'll probably do is release another update soon with the project file so people can play around with the skin themselves. I will still be working on it myself though.

> Be sure to install the font inside the zip.

You may embed the font into skin (Skin Editor - Options Embedded fonts)

Scope10 Featured By Owner Jul 18, 2013  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Ah right, I forgot I embedded it already.
I will still keep the font in the zip in case people want to use it for other stuff.
Demonessyume Featured By Owner Jul 18, 2013
I like the alternating lines of color in the playlist, subtle. Also, Goldfish master race.
